The 30 Day Mindfulness Program:

This is a 30 Day Video program that is play based and teaches you and your kids Mindfulness principles to enhance your daily life 🌈

Mindfulness is critical to leading a healthy, happy life and has been shown to be helpful for both kids and adults mental and physical health.

For me, Mindfulness helps me quiet my mind and take a step back from the overwhelm of the world. I am then able to focus only on the here and now and breath. Mindfulness doesn’t have to be a long process… it can be a few minutes to ground oneself and then get back to what you were doing with more focus and calm.

Mindfulness practice must be practiced for best results. Kids may not enjoy Mindfulness just for the sake of doing a Mindfulness practice which is why I like to combine it with play based activity to make it FUN.

And who doesn’t like fun? 

It’s best not to sit down your kids and give them “ the talk” about needing to do Mindfulness! My recommendation is to just tell them you have a game or two and JUST DO IT!

This series will give you 30 days of creative Mindfulness exercises, one 2 minute video at a time. Step-by-step, you and your family will learn basic breathing, paying attention and expressing gratitude, all woven through fun activities that will build connection and nurture with your kids 💕

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need the 30 Day Mindfulness program if I’m in therapy already?

In therapy, you may be learning traditional breathing exercises and mindfulness exercises. My goal in this 30 Day Mindfulness program is to bring FUN and HAPPY back into learning coping tools. You will be playing Mindfulness games with your kids and be bonding with them at the same time. This way, we address two things; learning coping skills and connecting to your kids ❤️ 

How much time do I need to dedicate to doing this program?

If you have 5-10 minute a day, when you spend time with your kids anyway, you should have more than enough time to do the program. Some moms have found it easier to do a video every 2nd day and extend the 30 day program into 60 days. You can do what works best for you! 

How soon will I see results?

Once you start playing Mindfulness games with your kids, both you and your kids are in for a treat! After a few days, you should start feeling calmer and more grateful for the gift of family. Your kids may take a couple of weeks to see results ( some move faster than others). You should be looking out for more affection, more kindness and consideration along with creativity. At the end of 30 days, it is my sincere hope that you and your kids will be calmer, more present with each other and definitely less stressed. 

My kids are really challenging! How will your program help?

Challenging children are reachable through playful connection. It may take a while longer to reach a challenging child and teach them coping tools and mindfulness through play but it can be done. The main thing is to approach your child with kindness and just offer to play with them. Don’t discuss what they’re suppose to learn and that this is a Mindfulness program. Be natural! Stay strong and be hopeful for good things to come! 

Will I be able to ask questions as I go along the program?

Yes, you will have access to ask questions in my Facebook group for support. I am here to help and to support you along the journey of raising happy, mindful children 🌈
